Rockstar Games has kicked off its Halloween 2025 celebration in GTA Online, running all October with brand-new modes, spooky survival challenges, eerie cosmetics, and special community events. From battling zombies on Cayo Perico to hunting down rivals in the Ramius submarine, Los Santos is about to get a lot scarier.
New Slasher Modes
The highlight of this year’s update is the Ramius Submarine Slasher Mode, which operates with a terrifying twist:
– Players begin with one stalker armed with a shotgun while the hunted are left with only flashlights.
– After three minutes of survival, the hunted arm themselves with shotguns, and the stalker rotates.
– Available from October 16–22 with 2X GTA$ and RP rewards.
Returning Slasher-themed Adversary Modes rotate weekly:
– Beast vs. Slasher (October 2–8)
– Judgement Day (October 9–15)
– Condemned (October 23–29)
– Slasher (Classic) (October 30–November 5)
All adversary modes offer double rewards, with GTA Plus members able to stack up to 4X multipliers.
Zombie Survival Events
Zombies are taking over two iconic locations this Halloween:
– Cayo Perico Survival : Runs October 2–8 with 2X GTA$ and RP.
– Ludendorff Cemetery Survival: Runs October 23–November 5 with triple rewards.
These survival challenges feature waves of enemies, from juggernauts and armored conquistadors to splitters, possessed animals, and even creepy zombie DJs. Players can also add Island Zombie Shamblers and Runners to their own custom creations using the Survival Creator tool.
Rewards, Masks, and Spooky Vehicles
This year’s Halloween update comes with free cosmetics, event-exclusive challenges, and discounts on hauntingly themed vehicles:
– Vehicles include the LCC Sanctus motorcycle, Albany Lurcher, Albany Franken Stange, and the Chariot Romero Hearse.
– Vinewood Undead Collection: New weekly rewards such as the Slasher Clown Outfit, Please Stop Me Mask, Vinewood Zombie Tee, and Skulls livery for the Mammoth Avenger.
Weekly challenges unlock GTA$200,000 bonuses and collectible masks:
– Oct 2–8: Survive 2 waves → Brown Vintage Zombie Mask
– Oct 9–15: Complete 3 Taxi Fares → Vintage Mummy Mask
– Oct 16–22: Win 1 Adversary Mode → Vintage Werewolf Mask
– Oct 23–29: Survive 4 Waves → Gray Jumping Spider Mask
– Oct 30–Nov 5: Win 1 Adversary Mode → Hooded Skull Mask
Community and Seasonal Events
Players will encounter new community series jobs featuring haunted racetracks, themed deathmatches, and spooky stunt courses designed by the GTA community itself.
Across Los Santos, paranormal disturbances also return, including UFO sightings, Ghosts Exposed investigations, and Jack O’Lantern collectibles rewarding bonus GTA$.
With horror-themed activities, high-GTA$ rewards, and exclusive unlockables, this Halloween promises to be one of GTA Online’s biggest seasonal events yet.
